Colorado Summer 2012---Mt Bierstadt


It was hard work but great fun.

Colorado became a summer of hiking. The first was with Jen, Fred, and Amy…..we tackled Mt. Bierstadt…..a 14'er!

The views were gorgeous….looking back toward Guenella Pass to Georgetown.

The first mile was across the marsh and then UP. Here are Fred and me slowly trudging.

And then at about 13,000' it became even steeper…….and Jen and I began to experience the altitude.  Not good.
