These are everywhere in Bardstown area......bourbon warehouses. Ugly on the outside but neat on the inside.

Black walnut tree.....reminds me of falls as a kid with Dad in southern Indiana. He was always on the lookout for black walnuts.

Distillery 2. Makers Mark. Out in the boonies. But a nice tour. They showed us everything. Here we are in bottling.

They even had us put our fingers into the fermenting tanks! It didn't taste like much.

and Four Roses. Again not a fan of the product, but a super video. Interesting that some of the distillers tank their bourbon across town for bottling

Heaven HIll....more memories of Dad. He drank Heaven Hill for years. Heaven Hill is #2 after Jim Beam. They do all kinds of lables.

They were interesting because they store and bottle for so many brands. Who knew liquor is shipped around the world like milk or gas......in tankers.

Next on agenda........Mammoth Cave. A MAMMOTH hole in the ground. And DARK! We began with 260 steps DOWN a narrow slot canyon.
